2012 ended with many shocking incidents one of it was a gang rape with a para medical student in the heart of Delhi in the middle of the night in a pvt. Bus with no public vehicle or transport even though she was accompanied by a male counterpart.Can imagine the pain & plight of the girl she went through & in that condition was thrown out from a moving bus.Not to forget to mention which is perhaps not highlighted by media that all of the Rapist were under the influence of Alcohol.


Writing this blog to show my tribute to the victim who finally succumbed to her grave injuries & for all those silent victims of rape.Also for something said from someone very close to me who knows me from my childhood in her daughter's wedding when I stopped her from crying more that "You won't know the pain because you don't have a daughter."It was very much hurting! I get to listen this very often & I always replied by saying,"Why forget I myself am a girl child." But I couldn't tell her so because it is to come from her was more shocking to me.

Delhi being the capital of India has kept that symbolism by being the capital of crimes against women.And we saw the most derogatory from the neighbouring U.P.At one time thought the 'Rape Victim' will survive but she had to die for we don't have any place for her in India.Just forget about what they are saying by giving name to the law & etc. etc. This I call the politics of rape because fact is all this is purely exaggeration the truth lies below the carpet & the truth is "Women not dare to speak" If so every voice raised will be silenced. (RIP)

Ours is a very conservative society where women have very 'tiny place' to live.Even if women is successful in coming out from the closet she has a world to face.Forget the equality she struggles to make her place in the so called man's world.However & how much she tries, work hard or reach the pinnacle at the end of the day she finds herself under the weight of man's ego.I see many women who work hard full day & at night husband comes have a drink beat them fulfill their desire & then go to sleep.Why this is not rape?

There are many school girls who have witness 3 or 4 abortions at a tender age of 14 why this is not rape? This I know a teenage girl who is continuously abused by her step father with her mum by her side is not a rape? There are so many professional prostitutes who are very young have to satisfy 3 or 4 or more than that in a day & everyday why that is not a rape?

This is the reason why when a girl child is being conceived they conspire to murder her in the womb itself. :'( I was there that day outside the cabin of my gynac there was a family may be had come for abortion. So that mature lady was explaining to a lady may be expecting that "Hisab karo baad mein 20, 25 lakh dene padenge abhi sirf 15,20 hazar kharch karne hain" means now you have to spend only 15 or 20 thousand later in her wedding in lacs so go for it.I was like couldn't think what to say.I couldn't stop them also I felt so helpless.. Still we give so much of 'Dahez' Dowry in the wedding but there is no guarantee your daughter will be safe or not.This girl I knew was a relative was after only six month of her wedding & may be expecting was thrown out from her window IInd floor & died instantly in Bhiwandi (Thane).Her family is fighting the case in the court of law & husband & family roaming free.

There are so many cases pending in the court of law has to still see the light of the day.And many cases are not reported for they are so poor that they can't fight the case & for that reason many cases of rape too not reported.

Where we have mechanism for so called dowry cases, rape cases, molestation cases, domestic violence cases to fight in the fast track court with an easy procedure & nominal fees? The sick mentality & corruption has made police station so dirty that a woman can't dare to go & report the crime & if someone dares then she has to listen "Amchya angavar ka yeta"? means you are falling on my body.It sounds so cheap that a woman leaves aside for what she had come & to hold her dignity at that moment has to explain she is from a good family, she is married & she has a 'Man' at home to fall for.. No! it is not stopped here we have the bad words commonly used on mother & sister & when a girl is being eve teased they ask "Tere ghar mein maa bahen nahi hai kya?" means you don't have a mother or sister or what? & it is already a joke! Again they end up giving maa bahen ki gaali.I listen every day every where it is just in the daily course."Teri maa ki g***" "Teri bahen ki c****"

See! I am not feeling anything to write this first time feeling devoid of any senses still writing the blogexcept when I talked about 'foeticide' I cried.This is because we have faced it from childhood they don't spare a girl child.They are cruel.They will touch a child, molest & then ask "Sab theek hai naa?" means All is ok? This I call 'Politics Of Rape'.


Can we change all these? Can a woman demand a respect? Can we have a place where birth of second or third girl child is celebrated with same enthusiasm? Can we have equal rights for women in the world? Can we have a woman president in a strongest democracy of the world, America? Can we stop giving bad words on mother & sister? Can we accept a woman is the only one who gives birth to a man?

If we want to stop the politics of rape we will have to find the answers for all the questions.Till then we can just hope for a better world for someone you love!
